Cover a large area with multiple Rain Shields

Planning your coverage

If your base is larger than a single Rain Shield's default radius, you'll need multiple shields. Each Rain Shield blocks rain in a circular area around itself. Plan their placement so the protected areas overlap or touch, creating continuous coverage across your entire base.

Spacing and placement

Craft additional Rain Shield blocks using the same recipe. Place them strategically around your base perimeter or at key points. Since the default radius is 80 blocks, shields placed roughly 160 blocks apart will cover a continuous line; adjust spacing based on your actual radius setting.

Testing coverage

Walk through your base to confirm rain doesn't render anywhere you need protection. If gaps remain, add more shields in those areas. You can also check your mod's configuration to see the exact radius value for more precise planning.
