Prevent Tracks from Entering Specific Areas
Using Exclusion Blocks
Railways Untold provides blocks designed to stop track generation in areas you want to protect. Place these exclusion blocks around the perimeter of regions you don't want the mod to build through.
Setup Steps
1. Identify the area you want to protect (your base, a village you're building manually, a specific biome, etc.)
2. Obtain the exclusion/barrier blocks from the Railways Untold creative tab or crafting menu
3. Create a boundary line or wall using these blocks around the area's edges
4. The track generation system will recognize this barrier and route around it instead of cutting through
5. You can remove or adjust the barrier blocks later if you change your mind about that region
Tips
- Barriers don't need to be solid walls—even a line of blocks will redirect track generation
- Place them before the mod generates tracks in that direction, or use them to prevent future expansion
- Combine multiple barriers to create complex protected zones
- The mod respects these blocks in real-time, so you can add them mid-game to protect newly discovered areas
