Triggering and Managing Your Wanted Level

Attacking any pillager immediately flags you with a wanted status, causing surprise raider ambushes across different biomes. These attacks can happen at any time, so prepare armor and weapons before engaging illagers.

To manage your wanted status, use Wanted Posters to either set bounties on other players or temporarily clear your own wanted level. Alternatively, use the Raider's Horn to summon a massive war horde that will end ongoing raids in your area.

Biome-specific raiders will hunt you, including horse cavalry in plains, camel patrols in deserts, spider climbers on walls, and boat squads in water. Search for pillager camps and abandoned laboratories to find Rusty Keys and Research Notes, which help you progress toward crafting the Crude Totem of Undying for survival protection.
