How to Challenge Gym Leaders and Earn Badges in Radical Gyms And Structures

Preparing for Gym Battles

Each gym building houses its corresponding Kanto gym leader from the Radical Cobblemon Trainers mod. Before entering, prepare a balanced Cobblemon team that counters the leader's type specialty. Brock favors Rock, Misty favors Water, Lt. Surge favors Electric, Erika favors Grass, Koga favors Poison, Sabrina favors Psychic, Blaine favors Fire, and Claire favors Dragon. Bring healing items and enough Poké Balls.

Battling Inside the Gym

Enter the gym structure and locate the leader inside. Interact with them to initiate a battle through the Radical Cobblemon Trainers system. Defeat their team to earn the corresponding badge. The Elite 4 and Champion are found together in the League Building in the End, and you must typically defeat all four Elite 4 members before challenging the Champion. Because this mod is in beta, battles may occasionally glitch, so save your game before each major fight. If a leader does not respond, try leaving and re-entering the structure, or reloading your world. Badges earned here function with the Radical Cobblemon Trainers progression system, unlocking higher-level trainer battles elsewhere.
