How to Fix Trainer Skins Not Showing Up

Check the Basics First

If trainers still look default, confirm the pack is actually enabled in Options → Resource Packs and sits in the active column. A pack that is downloaded but never moved to the right side does nothing. Next, make sure the base Radical Cobblemon Trainers mod is installed and functioning — this pack only supplies textures, so with no trainer mod there are no NPCs to repaint.

Resolve Pack Conflicts

Multiple resource packs editing the same trainer models will fight each other. Open the resource pack screen and drag this pack above any other pack that changes trainer appearances. Reload with F3 + T after reordering so the game rebuilds its texture atlas. If a specific trainer looks broken while others are fine, another pack is likely overriding just those files.

Rule Out Other Causes

Some trainers may simply not be covered by the pack, so a default look is not always a bug. Try a fresh world to see whether the issue follows your save or is global. If textures are missing entirely, verify the pack file is not corrupted by re-adding it. Finally, remember that skins apply to newly loaded trainers — NPCs already rendered in a loaded chunk may need a chunk reload or game restart before the new textures appear.
