Getting Started with Grid Power

Grid Power Basics

Quantum Utility Logic introduces Grid Power (GP), a dedicated energy system for running special equipment and flight rings. Unlike Forge Energy, Grid Power powers utility blocks and wearable items unique to this mod.

Start by building passive GP generators using Stoneburnt blocks—Water Mills and Lava Mills are your primary early sources. Place these near your base to begin accumulating power.

Once you have Grid Power flowing, you can activate flight rings like the Angel Ring or equip speed upgrades to accelerate machine processing. For additional energy, craft Forge Energy generators such as the Survival Generator or Furnace Generator to power other machines alongside your Grid Power setup.

Use the Angel Block to build in mid-air without support towers, and consider a Chunk Loading Ward to keep farms running while exploring.
