Getting Started with Test Chamber Construction

Start by gathering the mod's core building blocks: clean white panels for pristine laboratory walls, weathered concrete tiles for aged facility areas, and dark metal panels for industrial sections. Combine these textures to create authentic Portal-style chambers.

For lighting, place ceiling light fixtures in neutral, warm, or cold tones to set your chamber's atmosphere. Use observation room glass blocks to build viewing areas overlooking your test space.

To add interactivity, install airlock doors and maintenance doors. These redstone-activated blocks open and close when powered, letting you create functional airlocks and secret facility hallways. Layer different block types—clean panels with grimy concrete, metal accents with textured walls—to achieve the distinctive laboratory aesthetic from the Portal series.
