How to Upgrade Equipment

The reforging station allows you to add special qualities to your weapons, tools, and armor. To upgrade a piece of equipment, place it in the station along with a repair item.

The mod uses the standard repair item for each equipment type by default. For example, if you're upgrading an iron tool, the mod will look for iron as the repair material. If no standard repair item exists for your equipment, the mod falls back to a default material configured in the mod settings.

You can customize which materials work with specific equipment by editing the config file. This lets you use alternative repair items or support equipment the mod doesn't recognize by default. Each successful reforge grants attribute boosts to your gear, making it more powerful.
