Taming and Using Dogs

Find wild dogs roaming your world and tame them by feeding bones or bone cookies. Bone cookies speed up taming by fifty percent. Once tamed, dogs will follow you loyally.

Different breeds serve different purposes. Golden Retrievers automatically dig up suspicious sand and gravel blocks when you explore archaeological sites, making them invaluable for treasure hunting. Great Danes are combat specialists that attack hostile mobs alongside you in battle.

Other breeds like Chihuahuas, Borzois, and Pugs are friendly companions without special abilities. Collect all five breeds and enjoy the custom music disc that comes with the mod.
