Locating Electrotine Ore

Electrotine is one of Project Red Exploration's signature ores. It generates both as regular Electrotine Ore and as Deepslate Electrotine Ore, meaning you can find it in the upper stone layers and in the deepslate layer near the bottom of the world. Look for its distinctive texture while caving or branch mining. Bring a pickaxe of sufficient tier to mine it — check that your pickaxe can actually harvest the ore before you start digging toward it.

What Electrotine Is Used For

Electrotine functions as a redstone-like resource within the Project Red ecosystem. You can craft it into an Electrotine Block for compact storage or decorative use, and there is also an Electrotine Wall variant for building. Because Project Red as a whole is known for redstone logic and wiring, electrotine is typically a key ingredient in that side of the mod. If you are building circuits or logic gates, stockpile electrotine early.

Mining and Storage Tips

Electrotine ore drops the resource when mined, so bring a fortune-enchanted pickaxe if you want more per block. Store electrotine in a dedicated chest or convert surplus into Electrotine Blocks to save space. Since deepslate variants are found lower down, plan a deep mining trip with adequate lighting and food. Mark rich electrotine veins with torches so you can return to them later.
