Unlike ore veins that cluster together, Ancient Debris spawns as isolated blocks or small groups, so the outline system helps you spot individual pieces you might otherwise miss.

Search Strategy for Nether Mining

Ancient Debris generates at all heights in the Nether but is rarest near the surface. Focus your search between Y-level 8 and Y-level 22 for the highest concentration. As you tunnel or explore, the bright borders will alert you to nearby deposits without requiring you to examine every block closely.
