Enable Full Visual Effects with Shaders

Why Shaders Matter

Prime's HD Textures includes PBR (Physically Based Rendering) maps that add bumpy surfaces, metallic shine, and realistic reflections to blocks. Without shaders, these details remain hidden—you'll see the crisp 32x textures but miss the 3D depth and lighting effects.

Setting Up BSL Shaders

1. Install BSL Shaders in your shader folder

2. Launch Minecraft and open Options > Video Settings > Shaders

3. Select BSL Shaders from the list

4. Click Shader Options (the gear icon)

5. Navigate to Advanced Materials and enable it

6. Apply and return to the world

What You'll See

Once enabled, iron and gold bars transform into actual 3D models instead of flat textures. Ores glow with realistic lighting in caves. Wet blocks shimmer. Metallic surfaces catch light naturally. Crops and foliage gain depth and shadow detail.

If effects don't appear, verify that Advanced Materials is toggled on in shader options—this setting is essential for the resource pack's full potential.
