Locating Primal Vein Ores

The mod adds dozens of new ores distributed throughout your underground world. Most spawn at various depths, similar to vanilla ores. Use a pickaxe to mine them—different ores may require different tool tiers, so bring a strong pickaxe if you're exploring deep.

What to Expect When Mining

When you break an ore block, you'll receive raw ore chunks instead of the ore itself. This is intentional and differs from vanilla mining. You may also get nuggets, dusts, or other byproducts depending on the ore type. Collect these materials—they're your crafting ingredients.

Organizing Your Haul

Keep raw chunks, nuggets, and dusts in separate inventory slots or storage. You'll need to process raw chunks into ingots or refined materials at a furnace or smelter. Some ores drop polished gems or decorative pieces directly, which you can use for building or further crafting without processing.

Explore caves at different depths to find the full variety. The mod includes both real-world periodic table elements and fantasy gems like rubies and sapphires, so your mining trips will feel rewarding and diverse.
