Experiencing Realistic Material Reflections
Understanding PBR Surface Properties
The pack applies physically-based rendering to make materials behave realistically:
- Metals (iron, gold, copper) reflect light sharply and show mirror-like surfaces
Stone and
dirt appear rough and matte, absorbing light naturally- Water and ice display transparent or semi-transparent reflections
- Wood shows grain detail with subtle, directional reflections
Best Viewing Conditions
To fully appreciate these effects:
- Play during different times of day—sunrise and sunset create dramatic reflections
- Visit wet areas (beaches, rivers, rain) where reflective surfaces are most visible
- Explore caves with torchlight to see how metallic ores catch light
- Use third-person view to see how your armor and tools reflect realistically
- Adjust your brightness and contrast in video settings if reflections seem too subtle or blown out
