Upgrade Your Chest to the Next Tier

Gathering Materials

Before upgrading, collect 8 ingots or diamonds of the tier you want to upgrade to. For example, upgrading a Copper chest to Iron requires 8 Iron Ingots.

Performing the Upgrade

1. Place your current chest in the center of a crafting table

2. Arrange the 8 ingots or diamonds around it in the remaining crafting grid slots (the exact pattern follows standard crafting table layout)

3. Collect the upgraded chest from the output slot

What Happens to Your Items

All items stored inside your chest remain intact during the upgrade, including any custom name tags you've applied. You won't lose anything—the upgrade simply increases your storage capacity and unlocks new features like the magnet radius on Iron chests and higher.

Planning Your Upgrades

Consider upgrading when your current chest is nearly full or when you want access to better inventory management tools. Each tier jump significantly increases slot count and blast resistance, making upgrades worthwhile for long-term storage solutions.
