Use P2P Tunnels to Route Air and Temperature Across Your Base

Understanding Air and Temperature P2P Tunnels

P2P Tunnels are AE2 cables that compress data into a single channel, allowing you to transmit pressure and heat across long distances without running bulky PneumaticCraft tubes everywhere. Air P2P Tunnels carry compressed air; Temperature P2P Tunnels carry heat regulation signals.

Setting Up a P2P Network

Craft Air P2P Tunnel endpoints and place one pair at your source (connected to a pressure chamber or compressor) and another pair at your destination (connected to machines needing air). Link them through your ME Network using standard AE2 cable. Do the same for Temperature P2P Tunnels if distributing heat control.

Configuration and Testing

Right-click tunnel endpoints to configure input and output sides. Pressure should flow from source to destination automatically. Test by checking pressure levels on connected machines—they should match your source pressure.

Scaling Up

Use multiple P2P pairs to create branching networks. This approach eliminates visual clutter and reduces lag compared to running dozens of pressure tubes across your base. Combine with ME Pressure and Temperature Interfaces for centralized system control.
