Set Up ME Air Storage for Your First Compressed Air Tank
Crafting Your First ME Air Cell
Start by crafting an ME Air Storage Cell using materials from both Applied Energistics 2 and PneumaticCraft. You'll need AE2 cell components and PneumaticCraft air-handling materials. Insert the completed cell into any ME Drive connected to your network.
Connecting Air Sources
Place an
ME Pressure Interface adjacent to your ME Drive or connected via cable. This block acts as the bridge between your pressurized machines and the digital network. Connect external air containers—like pressure chambers or compressors—directly to the interface using PneumaticCraft pressure tubes.
Managing Pressure Levels
Right-click the ME Pressure Interface to set your target pressure. The interface will automatically pull air from connected machines into your ME Network when pressure is high, and push stored air back out when pressure drops below your target. This keeps your system balanced without manual intervention.
Upgrading Storage
As your base grows, craft larger capacity cells or use MEGA Cells integration for massive air storage (1M to 256M capacity). Swap cells in your drive to expand without rebuilding infrastructure.
