How to Breed and Raise Dinosaurs
Feeding and Taming Your Dinosaurs
Once you have living dinosaurs, you can interact with them by providing food. Carnivorous dinosaurs require meat (raw or cooked), while herbivores eat plants and vegetation. Feed them consistently to build a relationship and encourage breeding behavior.
Breeding Mechanics
When two dinosaurs of the same species are well-fed and nearby each other, they will enter breeding mode. You'll see visual indicators showing they're ready to reproduce. After a successful breeding event, a baby dinosaur will spawn. Babies grow over time and eventually reach adult size.
Managing Your Herd
Keep your dinosaurs in a controlled area with adequate space—large dinosaurs like Brachiosaurus need room to move. Provide consistent food sources and protect them from hostile mobs and environmental hazards. Baby dinosaurs are vulnerable, so consider building sheltered pens during their growth phase. As your herd grows, you can selectively breed for specific traits or simply enjoy watching your prehistoric ecosystem develop.
