Track DPS and Damage Per Hit Across Multiple Attacks

Reading Damage Statistics

The mod displays both individual hit damage and DPS (damage per second) in floating text above the dummy. Use this to measure weapon performance objectively.

Steps:

1. Attack your dummy repeatedly with a weapon

2. Watch the colored damage numbers that float above the dummy

3. Note the individual damage values for each hit

4. Observe the DPS calculation that updates as you continue attacking

5. Switch weapons and repeat to compare results

Comparing Weapons Fairly

Attack each weapon for the same duration or hit count to get accurate DPS comparisons. Different weapons have different attack speeds—a slow heavy weapon might deal high damage per hit but lower DPS than a fast sword. The floating statistics show both metrics, so you can decide whether you need raw damage or consistent output. Test with and without enchantments to see exactly how much each enchantment contributes to your total damage.
