Prepare Your Enchanting Tablet

Hold the Enchanting Tablet and right-click to open it. Before you can enchant, you need to add bookshelves to boost your enchantment level. Place bookshelves into the tablet's designated slot—you'll need multiple bookshelves to reach the highest enchantment tiers.

Add Bookshelves for Level 30 Enchantments

The tablet accepts bookshelves as a consumable resource. Add enough bookshelves to unlock level 30 enchantments, which gives you access to the most powerful enchantment options available in the game.

Enchant Your Item

Place the item you want to enchant into the tablet's input slot. Select from the available enchantment options that appear. Higher-level enchantments become available once you've added sufficient bookshelves.

Portable Enchanting Anywhere

Unlike a traditional enchanting setup, you can carry this tablet in your inventory and enchant gear anywhere—in caves, on mountains, or mid-adventure. No need to build an enchanting room or return to base. Simply right-click whenever you need to upgrade your equipment.
