Finding and Obtaining a Portable Hole

Locate a Stronghold

Portable Holes are rare items found exclusively in stronghold chests. To find a stronghold, you'll need to locate a fortress in the Nether and obtain Ender Pearls from Endermen. Throw the pearls to follow their trajectory—they point toward the nearest stronghold.

Search Stronghold Chests

Once inside the stronghold, explore thoroughly and open all chests you find. The Portable Hole can appear in various chest types throughout the structure, though it's not guaranteed in every stronghold. You may need to visit multiple strongholds before obtaining one.

Handle with Care

Once you have the item, keep it in your inventory or a safe storage location. Since it's a rare find, avoid losing it to lava or other hazards. Consider keeping it in an Ender Chest for extra security if you're exploring dangerous areas.
