Use Gravestones as Decorative Blocks in Your Build

Aesthetic vs. Functional Gravestones

The mod offers two types of gravestones: functional gravestones that store items on death, and aesthetic gravestones that are purely decorative. Aesthetic gravestones don't hold items but can be freely placed and customized.

Crafting and Placing Decorative Gravestones

Craft aesthetic gravestones using the recipe provided in the mod. Place them anywhere in your build like you would any other block. They won't interfere with gameplay and won't spawn when you die.

Customizing Your Gravestones

Aesthetic gravestones can be dyed different colors and written on like signs. This allows you to create:

  • Memorial structures and cemeteries
  • Themed decorations for spooky or gothic builds
  • Labeled markers and waypoints
  • Custom grave designs with personalized text

Combining with Other Blocks

Pair gravestones with dark wood, stone variants, or iron bars to enhance the aesthetic. They work well in gardens, dungeons, or atmospheric builds. Since they're configurable and won't decay in decorative mode, they're perfect for permanent structures.
