Prevent Other Players from Accessing Your Gravestone

Understanding Access Control

By default, gravestones may allow other players to open them and take your items. The mod includes configuration options to restrict this behavior.

Configuring Access Restrictions

Access permissions are controlled through the mod's configuration file. Server admins or players with appropriate permissions can enable settings that:

  • Restrict gravestone access to the owner only
  • Prevent other players from opening or breaking your gravestone
  • Allow only the original player to retrieve stored items

Checking Your Server's Rules

Ask your server admin what access settings are active. Some servers allow free-for-all looting, while others enforce strict ownership. If you're playing single-player, you can edit the config file directly to lock down your gravestones.

Protecting Your Items Further

If your server allows it, retrieve items quickly after death. The faster you access your gravestone, the less time others have to interfere. On multiplayer servers, consider asking admins to enable owner-only access if it isn't already active.
