Set Up Your First Plant Defense

Gather Sun and Find Seeds

Begin by exploring your world to locate wild plants. Sunflowers and other sun-producing plants spawn naturally across different biomes. Defeat wild plants or harvest sun directly from sun-producing ones to collect your first Sun currency. You'll need Sun to tame plants and purchase seeds from the mod's mechanics.

Place Your Plants

Once you have Sun and seeds, you're ready to build your defense. Find a suitable location near your base—flat ground works, but plant pots offer extra protection. Place your tamed plants on normal grass or dirt blocks, or use plant pots for added armor and durability.

Start with basic defenders like Peashooters, which are effective against early zombie waves. Space your plants strategically so they can cover approaching zombies from multiple angles. Plant pots are especially useful for protecting your most valuable defenders during intense raids.

Prepare for Attacks

Arrange your plants in layers: sun-producers like Sunflowers in the back, and damage-dealers like Peashooters in front. As you collect more Sun, expand your garden and unlock stronger plant varieties. This layered approach gives you time to react when zombie waves arrive.
