Prepare for a Zombie Raid

Understand Raid Mechanics

Zombie Raids are intense events where waves of zombies attack your defenses. Leader Zombies appear during these raids—they carry flags, have extra health, and call for reinforcements. Special zombie types only spawn during massive raids, making preparation essential.

Build Layered Defenses

Arrange your plants in depth: place sun-producers safely in the back, mid-range attackers in the middle, and your strongest defenders in front. Use plant pots to give key plants extra armor. Ensure coverage across your entire perimeter so no zombies slip through gaps.

Stock Up on Sun

Before a raid begins, accumulate as much Sun as possible. You may need to quickly place additional plants or repair damaged ones during the attack. Having surplus Sun lets you reinforce weak points and replace fallen defenders without interruption.

Counter Specific Threats

Leader Zombies require focused fire—concentrate your strongest plants on them first. Specialized zombie types have unique behaviors, so observe their patterns and adjust your plant placement accordingly.
