Troubleshooting Visual Issues
Blocks Appearing Unclear or Washed Out
If the grid-based aesthetic feels too minimal and you're struggling to distinguish blocks:
- Adjust your brightness settings in-game; the flat textures respond well to lighting adjustments
- Ensure mipmaps are enabled to prevent texture flickering at distance
- Check that your monitor's contrast settings aren't too low
- Try adjusting gamma in video settings—the pack's simplicity means gamma changes have more noticeable effects
Performance Still Struggling
If you're not seeing the expected FPS improvement:
- Verify the resource pack is actually active (check resource pack list in settings)
- Lower chunk render distance further; even with this optimized pack, distance is the biggest FPS factor
- Disable any shader mods temporarily to isolate performance issues
- Check that other resource packs aren't loaded simultaneously
Texture Inconsistencies
Occasional visual glitches with the grid pattern are usually caused by conflicting mods or texture filtering settings. Try disabling anisotropic filtering or adjusting mipmap levels to resolve alignment issues.
