Locate the Castle

The Pillagers Plus castle is a large, unique structure that generates somewhere in your world. It's significantly bigger than outposts and serves as the mod's major landmark. Search systematically from high vantage points, or explore biome variants where castles are more likely to spawn. The structure is distinctive and difficult to miss once you're nearby.

Prepare for Heavy Combat

The castle is filled with multiple enemy types, including Captains, Royal Guards with shields, and various biome-variant pillagers. Bring enchanted diamond or netherite gear with Protection. Pack multiple stacks of arrows, healing potions, and food. Consider bringing blocks for building cover during intense fights.

Clear Methodically

Enter cautiously and clear room by room. Royal Guards will block arrows with their shields, so use melee weapons or aim around their defenses. Summoners will spawn reinforcements, making them priority targets. Watch for Captains—defeating them grants Bad Omen.

The castle contains valuable loot in chests throughout its chambers. Take time to explore thoroughly, as some treasure may be in less obvious locations. The castle's layout can be complex, so mark your path to avoid getting lost.
