Locate an Outpost

Pillagers Plus generates seven different outpost types across your world. They spawn in various biomes and are typically easier to find than the castle. Scout from high ground or use a map mod if you prefer. Outposts are usually smaller than the castle but still contain dangerous enemies and valuable loot.

Clear the Structure

Approach cautiously—Pillagers and their variants will be patrolling. Use ranged weapons to pick off enemies from a distance before entering. Watch for Captains carrying raid banners; defeating them grants the Bad Omen status effect, which triggers a raid if you enter a village.

Clear room by room, checking for Miners if the outpost extends underground. Use torches to mark your path and prevent mob respawning.

Collect Rewards

Outposts contain chests with enchanted books, emeralds, and unique items. The exact loot varies by outpost type and biome variant. Take your time searching all chambers—some loot may be hidden in less obvious locations.
