How to Use Pickup Notifications to Track What You Collect

Reading the Popups

Each notification shows the item's icon and its raw name, and XP orbs get their own popup. This makes the feature a lightweight running log of what you just picked up. Because it shows only the base name, it will not tell you about enchantments, durability, or custom names, so treat it as a quick glance rather than a detailed inventory readout.

Using It While Mining or Farming

When you are digging through a vein or harvesting a field, the popups confirm in real time that you grabbed the drops you care about, such as ores or crops, without opening your inventory. If you are hunting for a specific resource, watch the stack for its icon to appear so you know you found it. For XP, the orb popups let you confirm you are collecting experience as you go.

Combining With Your Inventory

Use the notifications as a first signal, then verify totals in your inventory when you need exact counts. If a popup appears for something you did not expect, it is a cue to check your inventory for a stray item. Keep the stack positioned where you can see it peripherally, and keep the display duration long enough to read but short enough that it does not linger and block your view during fast-paced play.
