How to Change Where Pickup Notifications Appear on Your Screen

Finding the Config File

Pickup Notifications keeps its settings in a config file rather than an in-game menu. After launching the game once with the mod installed, look in your Minecraft instance's config folder for the file associated with Pickup Notifications. Open it with any plain text editor. You will see options controlling the on-screen position, the anchor corner, and the offset values that nudge the popups horizontally and vertically.

Adjusting Position and Offset

Change the anchor setting to the corner you want notifications to stack from (for example top-left, top-right, bottom-left, or bottom-right). Then tune the X and Y offset values to move the stack away from the screen edge so it does not overlap your hotbar, health, or other HUD elements. Save the file and reload the game (or the world) for changes to take effect.

Testing Your Setup

Pick up a few items and an XP orb to confirm the popups land where you expect. If they overlap your crosshair or chat, increase the offset away from that edge. Because the mod shows only the raw item name and icon, the popup is small, so a modest offset is usually enough. If you use other HUD mods, leave extra room so the two do not collide.
