How to Armor Your Pets
Once you've tamed a wolf or cat, you can craft armor for them using the same materials and methods as regular player armor—leather, iron, diamond, and other vanilla materials. Equip the armor on your pet to increase its durability in combat and exploration.
Armor protection scales with the material used: leather armor provides basic protection, while diamond armor offers maximum defense. As your pet's armor takes damage, its durability decreases just like player armor. Repair or replace it as needed to keep your companion well-protected during adventures.
