How to Get Your Own Wandering Trader in Multiplayer

Why You Aren't Seeing the Trader

In vanilla Minecraft, wandering traders spawn on a world-wide timer, so on a busy server the trader may appear near another player and never reach you. This mod changes that: each player gets their own trader spawn tied to their own position and progress. If you're not seeing one, it's usually because the spawn conditions for *your* player haven't been met yet.

Steps to Trigger Your Personal Trader

1. Make sure you're actually loaded into the world and not just spectating — the mod tracks spawn data per player, so you must be an active participant.

2. Stay in a valid spawn area. Traders need a safe spot to appear, so avoid standing in the middle of an ocean, inside solid blocks, or in a fully enclosed 1-block space.

3. Give it time. The spawn logic still runs on a timer per player, so it won't be instant — just keep playing normally.

4. Move around your base or explore a bit. Standing still in one chunk for a long time can delay a valid spawn location being found near you.

5. If you're on a server, confirm with your admin that the mod is installed server-side, since spawning is handled by the server.

Once your trader arrives, it behaves exactly like a vanilla trader — same trades, same llamas, same despawn timer. The only difference is that it spawned for *you*, not the whole world.
