Finding and Extracting Bug DNA from Amber

Locating Fossilized Trunks

Fossilized trunks spawn naturally throughout your world and contain Suspicious Amber. Search caves, underground areas, and fossil-rich biomes. Break these trunks to collect the Suspicious Amber inside.

Extracting DNA with the DNA Extractor

Place a DNA Extractor block in your base or workshop. This machine converts Suspicious Amber into usable bug eggs. The extractor will produce a bug egg that you can retrieve.

Once you have an egg, place it on solid ground in a safe location. The egg will hatch after a short time, revealing a baby bug. Keep the area well-lit and protected from mobs to prevent your new pet from taking damage during the vulnerable hatching stage.
