Fixing a Crash or Startup Error That Names OwO Lib
When a modpack or a single mod refuses to start and the log mentions OwO Lib, the cause is almost always a dependency mismatch rather than a corrupt world.
Read the error before changing anything
Open the crash report or the latest log file. Look for lines mentioning OwO Lib alongside words like "missing", "requires", "incompatible", or a version range. The message usually tells you which other mod demanded OwO Lib and what it expected. Note whether the complaint is about OwO Lib being absent entirely or about the version present being outside the accepted range.
Resolve the mismatch
If OwO Lib is absent, add it back. If it is present but rejected, the dependent mod was built against a different OwO Lib release — update or downgrade one of the two so their expectations line up. Because OwO Lib is a library, its version is tied to the Minecraft version and loader you are running, so keep it on the same branch as the mods that use it.
Confirm the fix
Restart and watch the loading progress. A successful launch means the dependency graph resolved. If the same mod still errors, check whether a second library it needs is also missing — dependent mods often require several shared libraries at once, and fixing only OwO Lib may reveal the next one.
