Wearing and Activating Your Flashlight

The flashlight can be held in your main hand for direct use, or worn on your belt to keep your hands free for other tasks. Wearing it on your belt still illuminates your surroundings, making it ideal for combat or building while exploring.

Managing Battery Swaps

To swap batteries during exploration, sneak and right-click with an empty battery in your main hand to remove the depleted one. Then place a fresh battery in your off-hand and right-click again to install it.

Always carry spare charged batteries—bunkers are large and dark, and running out of light forces you to navigate blind or abandon exploration.

Optimizing Light Coverage

Position yourself strategically so your flashlight beam covers the area you're investigating. The flashlight has limited range, so move methodically through bunkers rather than rushing ahead. Combine your flashlight with placed industrial lights or torches to create permanent lighting in areas you plan to return to frequently.
