Set Up Your First Oreberry Farm

Finding and Planting Oreberries

Oreberries grow naturally in dark locations—caves, deep underground, or anywhere with low light levels. Search these areas and break the berry bushes to collect berries. Each ore type has its own berry variant (Iron Oreberries, Gold Oreberries, etc.).

Once you have berries, plant them in farmland or dirt blocks in a dark area. They will grow over time. If your berries aren't growing, check your mod config—by default, light suppresses growth. You can adjust this setting or simply keep your farm in a cave or covered structure.

Automating with Botany Pots

For faster, more reliable growth, place Oreberries into Botany Pots (if installed). These accelerate growth cycles and let you farm in any location regardless of light. Stack multiple pots to scale production.

Once mature, harvest the berries by right-clicking or breaking the bush. You'll collect multiple berries per harvest, letting you replant immediately or process them into nuggets.
