Harvest Essence Berries for Experience

Locating Essence Berries

Essence Berries are a special variant found in the world alongside regular Oreberries. They typically spawn in dark areas like caves. Search thoroughly—they may be less common than ore variants.

Collecting Experience

Unlike regular Oreberries, Essence Berries provide solid experience points when harvested. Simply break the bush to collect berries and gain XP. This makes them valuable for leveling up your enchanting or mending gear.

You can also plant Essence Berries in your farm to create a renewable XP source. Harvest them repeatedly to accumulate levels over time. They follow the same growth rules as other Oreberries—they prefer dark environments unless your config is changed.

Essence Berries cannot be processed in a vat like ore variants; they're purely for XP farming.
