How to Trigger a Cinematic Nuke Strike

The nuke charge is the mod's showpiece mode: a large, cinematic orbital detonation meant for spectacle rather than surgical use. It is best saved for open terrain or when you deliberately want to reshape a big area.

Preparing for a nuke strike

Switch your cannon rod to the nuke charge mode. Because the blast is large, position yourself well away from the intended impact point and make sure nothing you want to keep is nearby. Aim your view at the target zone so the directional firing sends the strike to the right place.

Firing and what to expect

The strike is cinematic, meaning the explosion plays out with a dramatic orbital-weapon effect rather than a single instant pop. Cast the rod to mark the target and trigger the charge. Stay back and watch — the effect unfolds over a moment, so don't run into the impact zone immediately.

Good uses

  • Flattening a large build site in one shot.
  • Dramatic PvP or server events.
  • Testing the mod's visuals in a safe world.

Because the nuke mode covers a wide radius, always confirm your own distance first. If you are unsure of the radius, fire one in a flat test area before using it near anything valuable.
