How to Fire a Precision Blast Exactly Where You Look

Precision strikes are for when you want a controlled detonation at a specific spot instead of a wide cinematic blast. The key is the stab charge aim mode combined with your look direction.

Setting up the shot

Select the stab charge aim mode on your cannon rod. Stand where you have a clear line of sight to the target. Because the mod fires directionally based on where you are looking, tilt your view down toward the exact block or area you want hit. The closer your crosshair is to the target, the more accurate the strike.

Triggering the blast

Cast the rod to mark the location, then trigger the charge. The precision blast resolves almost instantly at the marked point rather than falling from the sky over time. This makes it useful for mining out a single spot, breaking into a base, or clearing a specific structure without flattening everything around it.

When to use it

  • Removing a single stubborn block or small cluster.
  • Breaching a wall at a chosen point.
  • Combat against a target you can see but can't reach.

If the blast lands somewhere unexpected, re-check your pitch — the strike follows your view angle, so looking too far up or down shifts the impact point.
