Prepare Your Cell and Workbench
Place a Cell Workbench and gather an Omni Series or Complex Omni Series storage cell. These cells are designed to hold both items and fluids simultaneously without requiring separate drives.
Insert and Configure
1. Place your storage cell into the Cell Workbench
2. The cell will automatically accept both item and fluid types as they're inserted into your ME system
3. No additional configuration is needed for basic mixed storage
Optimize with Type Filtering (Optional)
If you want to restrict what your cell accepts:
1. Add a 
Type Fuzzy Card to the workbench alongside your cell
2. Mark an item to make the cell accept only items (blocks all fluids)
3. Mark a fluid to make the cell accept only fluids (blocks all items)
4. Use an Inverter Card if you want to create a blacklist instead of a whitelist
Capacity Considerations
Omni Series cells hold exactly 63 different types. If you need more variety, upgrade to a Complex Omni Series cell, which increases type capacity as the cell tier grows. For unlimited type storage, use a Quantum Series cell instead.
