Reduce Texture Repetition in Large Open Areas

The Problem with Flat Terrain

Large grass fields and stone plains can look repetitive and artificial. The base Odar pack uses clean terrain patterns, but you can break this up further for a more natural appearance.

Using Random Blocks Add-on

Enable the OdarIs Random Blocks add-on pack alongside the main resource pack. This add-on provides varied block skins for grass, dirt, and stone blocks, creating visual variety across flat surfaces without changing gameplay.

Layering for Maximum Effect

For even richer terrain, also activate OdarIs Random Overlay. This add-on works with the random blocks to add matching surface detail layers, making grass and earth look less uniform.

Installation Order

Load packs in this order in your resource pack list: base Odar pack first, then Random Blocks, then Random Overlay. This stacking ensures overlays apply correctly to randomized blocks.
