How Nutrition Works

Nutritional Balance Mod replaces simple hunger-based eating with a nutrition system requiring dietary variety. Rather than consuming any food to fill your hunger bar, you must eat different types of food to maintain proper nutrition and stay healthy.

Press N to open your nutrition screen and monitor your current nutritional status. This display shows how well-balanced your diet is across different food categories.

Survival becomes more challenging since you can no longer rely on farming a single food type. Instead, you'll need to cultivate and gather multiple food sources to meet your nutritional needs. Plan your farms and food storage accordingly to ensure you have access to varied foods for long-term survival.
