How to Test a Converted Sky Without Committing to It

Why You Would Want a Test Override

Converting a whole pack just to see whether one sky looks right is slow. Nuit Interop Mod includes flexible controls for testing overrides, so you can preview a converted sky, decide whether you like it, and only then keep it.

Steps to Preview a Sky

1. Make sure the legacy sky pack is enabled and Nuit Interop Mod has converted it.

2. Open the mod's config and look for the override/testing controls.

3. Use the override option to force a specific converted sky to display, rather than letting normal priority rules decide.

4. Enter a world and check the sky at the relevant time of day or in the relevant dimension.

5. If you like it, leave the override in place or adjust your native-sky preference so it wins permanently. If not, disable the override and reload packs.

Keeping Things Clean

Overrides are meant for testing, so avoid stacking several at once. If a sky refuses to appear, disable other sky-related packs temporarily to rule out conflicts, then re-enable them one at a time. Once you are satisfied, remove the test override so normal conversion and fallback behavior resumes.
