How to Force Converted Skies to Override Native Nuit Skies
Understanding the Priority Conflict
By default, Nuit Interop Mod uses a smart fallback: if a native Nuit or FabricSkyBoxes skybox is present, the mod leaves it alone and does not convert the OptiFine/MCPatcher equivalent. That is usually what you want, because native skies are the modern format. But sometimes a pack author ships both, and you prefer the look of the converted legacy version.
Switching the Preference
1. Open the mod's config screen or config file.
2. Find the option that disables native skyboxes in favor of converted ones.
3. Enable it.
4. Reload resource packs (or restart the game) so the conversion pass runs again with the new preference.
Verifying the Result
After reloading, the sky should now come from the converted OptiFine/MCPatcher definition rather than the native Nuit sky. If nothing changes, confirm that the pack actually contains a legacy sky for that dimension and time, and that no other mod is overriding sky rendering. Remember this setting is global, so it affects every sky where both a native and a convertible legacy version exist, not just one pack.
