Which Aircraft Support Bomb Bays

Not all Immersive Aircraft planes are equally suited for nuclear bomb bays. Larger aircraft like bombers and transport planes have more upgrade slots and structural capacity. Smaller planes like fighters or light aircraft may have limited or no compatible upgrade slots.

Checking Upgrade Slots

When you open an aircraft's upgrade interface, you'll see available slots. The Nuclear Bomb Bay requires a compatible slot—usually designated for cargo or weapons upgrades. If your aircraft shows no suitable slots, it cannot equip this upgrade.

Balancing with Datapacks

The mod includes an optional datapack that rebalances bomb capacity across different aircraft sizes. This prevents overpowered combinations where massive planes could carry unrealistic bomb loads. If you're playing with this datapack enabled, your aircraft's actual bomb capacity may differ from the bay's maximum slots.
