How to Unlock and Access the Pangea Dimension

Prerequisites

Before you can explore Pangea's ancient biomes, you must first visit the Nether. Simply travel through a Nether portal as you normally would in vanilla Minecraft. Once you've spent time in the Nether dimension, the gateway to Pangea will become accessible.

Entering Pangea

After visiting the Nether, return to the Overworld. Look for a new portal structure or dimensional gateway—this will transport you to Pangea. The exact location or activation method may vary, so check your Paleopedia for specific landmark clues.

What to Bring

Pangea is home to dangerous prehistoric predators like Carcharodontosaurus and Herrerasaurus packs. Bring armor, weapons, and food. Consider bringing a shield to block attacks from large carnivores and collect their dropped teeth for crafting.

First Steps in Pangea

Once inside, explore the ancient biomes to locate Amber Mosquitos in caves and Cooksonia plants in fields. These resources are essential for DNA collection and taming creatures. Use your Paleopedia to identify which biomes contain the creatures and plants you're seeking.
