Placing Light Strings

Light Strings come in three variants: Normal, Straight, and Hang. Each creates a different visual effect for your holiday decorations.

• Normal lights work well on walls and flat surfaces
• Straight variants create linear light patterns
• Hang variants drape downward, perfect for rooflines and doorways

Place them by right-clicking on blocks where you want the lights to appear. You can combine multiple variants in the same area to create layered lighting effects.

Creating a Complete Display

Pair your Light Strings with other decorative blocks for maximum impact:

1. Install Light Strings along the perimeter of your roof or walls

2. Add Wreaths to doorways and window frames

3. Place Stockings on mantels or fence posts

4. Top nearby trees with a Glowstone Star or Gold Star

5. Use Candles around the base for additional ambient lighting

The combination of multiple light sources creates a festive atmosphere. Frosted Planks can replace regular wood blocks to enhance the winter theme throughout your build.
