How to Refresh a Long Server List Without Losing Your Place
The Problem This Mod Solves
In vanilla Minecraft, the server list has a refresh button that re-pings every server to update their status, player counts, and latency. The catch is that pressing it also snaps your scroll position back to the very top of the list. If you have dozens of servers saved, this means you have to scroll all the way back down to where you were, every single time.
What to Do
With No Refresh Scroll Mod installed, you do not need to change your behavior at all. Simply scroll down to the server you care about, then click the refresh button as you normally would.
1. Open the multiplayer screen from the main menu.
2. Scroll down to the section of your list you want to check.
3. Click the refresh button.
4. Watch the server entries update in place — the list stays exactly where it was.
When This Is Most Useful
This is especially handy on large servers where you are checking whether a specific world is online, or when you maintain a long list of small community servers and want to see which ones are currently up. You can refresh repeatedly without ever losing your scroll position, so you can monitor a single server's status without fighting the list.
No configuration is required. The behavior applies automatically whenever you press refresh.
