Prevent Mobs from Spawning on Specific Block Types

Extend Beyond Default Tree Blocks

The mod blocks spawning on wood logs and mushroom blocks by default, but you can add more block types to this list.

1. Open the configuration file

2. Find the section that lists blocks where mobs cannot spawn

3. Add the block names of any blocks you want to protect (for example, specific decorative blocks, roofs, or platforms)

4. Save and reload

Practical Applications

This is especially useful if you:

• Use mods that add custom wood or building blocks
• Have elaborate rooftop structures where you don't want mobs appearing
• Want to create mob-free platforms or bridges
• Play with giant tree mods that create massive dark areas

By expanding the block blacklist, you gain fine-grained control over your terrain without needing to light up every surface.
