Increase Mob Spawning Difficulty in Specific Areas

Boost Spawn Rates for Challenge Areas

If you want certain regions to be more dangerous, you can increase how often mobs spawn there.

1. Open the configuration file

2. Find settings related to spawn rates or mob density

3. Create rules that target specific biomes or dimensions

4. Increase the spawn weight or rate for those areas

5. Save and reload

Adjust Mob Caps Per Region

You can also control the maximum number of mobs allowed in an area at once:

  • Set higher mob caps in biomes you designate as dangerous (like jungles or dark forests)
  • Keep lower caps in safe zones or farming areas
  • Use dimension-based rules to make the Nether or End significantly more challenging

This lets you create a graduated difficulty curve across your world, with peaceful starter areas and progressively more dangerous zones as you explore.
